A three-vehicle crash in Pacific Palisades in the early morning hours on Saturday has left one person dead and three other people critically injured.
According to the story appearing on the Patch.com website, the fatal crash happened at approximately 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, November 21st in the 17800 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
In two separate statements, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Officer Jeffrey Lee and Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles County Fire Department told reporters that a vehicle traveling southbound on Pacific Coast Highway veered off the pavement of the highway and into two cars that were parked along the roadway.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene at around 3:42 a.m. Rescuers arrived and pronounced one person dead at the scene. They have identified the man as 28-year-old David Martinez.

Three other people were reported to have been critically injured in the accident. A fourth person suffered only minor injuries in the accident. All four were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Their identities and current condition had not been released at the time of the report.
The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department closed PCH from Sunset Boulevard to Coastline Drive for several hours while the crash was being investigated and the wreckage was cleared from the highway.
The accident is currently under investigation., So far, officials don’t know the cause of the crash.
