It was the kind of situation that no one would ever want to be in. After a pickup truck collided with another vehicle on a busy California highway, it ended up overturned onto its roof. Those inside the truck were trapped. Thanks to the kindness and determination of some Good Samaritans, the vehicle was turned back over so that emergency crews could rescue the couple.
ABC News reported on the dramatic story that unfolded on the afternoon of Sunday, July 7th along California State Route 60 in Pomona. Jorge Tiznado Jr. posted cellphone video footage taken by his mother of the scene in which a group of six people is shown assisting the couple who were trapped inside the overturned truck.
The video has since gone viral. The footage sent via Twitter has been retweeted more than 4,700 times and liked by more than 31,000 fellow Twitter users.

Tizando told reporters that his father saw someone trapped inside the truck and pulled over to block three lanes of traffic to assist the man and woman inside the truck. Other motorists also stopped to lend a hand.
A spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol (CHP) told reporters at ABC that the accident happened at approximately 4:43 p.m. There were two victims inside the vehicle at the time of the crash who were pulled from the vehicle. At the time of the initial report, the condition of the two people in the truck was not confirmed.
ABC later reported that the couple had been uninjured in the crash.
