So many car accidents leave law enforcement and first responders with a bit of a puzzle. People lose their lives, and others are so injured in the event that they cannot immediately explain what happened. This means we are left picking up clues to piece together what exactly happened and why.
Take a recent tragedy in Morovia as an example. According to this report from NBC Los Angeles, all but one of the eastbound lanes had to be closed for several hours Sunday morning because of a deadly wrong-way crash. As early as 4:30 in the morning, police received reports of a possible wrong-way vehicle on the 210. California Highway Patrol responded to find this vehicle, described as a white sedan. Unfortunately, they only found the car after a fatal accident had occurred.
A white Chevy Cruise and a Tan Tacoma were found in bad shape, both flipped over from the head-on collision. One driver was dead on the scene, and the other was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

As late as 7:00 in the morning, CHP was still investigating the accident. They were unsure of the identities of those involved or what exactly had happened. In addition to that, all but one lane was closed because of the wreckage. Why did this happen? Why was the vehicle traveling the wrong way? We may never know for sure.
